You start with the cowl, which teaches you basic chain stitch, double crochet, working in a round, slip stitch and picot stitch.
Then move on to the hat where you continue to use the skills you’ve already learnt but adds a Magic Circle and front post stitch to your growing repertoire along with how to increase stitches.
The flower shows you a way of putting the stitches together to create something different.
Finally the fingerless mitts don’t teach you any new stitches but instead you learn how to divide your work to make the thumb.
